Harry Sargeant III (“Sargeant”) brings this application ex parte1 under 28 U.S.C. § 1782 for an order granting him , leave to serve a subpoena on Burford Capital, LLC (“Burford”) to produce documents for use in a Panamanian attachment proceeding. In addition, Sargeant claims that the requested discovery will inform him of his rights with respect to a pending lawsuit in the United Kingdom that he contemplates joining, as well as his rights with respect to potential lawsuits in the United Kingdom and the Isle of Mari that he contemplates…
