*170 In this appeal by permission we consider the proper role of an appellate court when reviewing a non-jury decision where it deems the trial court's opinion pursuant to Pennsylvania Rule of Appellate Procedure 1925(a) inadequate, but the trial judge is no longer available to provide a supplemental opinion.
