SULLIVAN, Judge:

Appellant was tried by a military judge sitting alone as a general court-martial at Kaiserslautern, Federal Republic of Germany, on October 18, 1988. Pursuant to her pleas, she was found guilty of using marijuana and three specifications of distributing marijuana in the hashish form, in violation of Article 112a, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 912a. The military judge sentenced her to a dishonorable discharge, confinement for 5 years, total forfeitures, and reduction to E-l. In accordance with a pretrial agreement, the convening authority…
