In Lewis et ux. vs. Yale, 4 Fla., 418, it is held that a feme covert is not competent to enter into contracts so as to give a personal remedy against her. Mrs. Lewis did not sign the contract to convey, but it was contended upon behalf of Yale that the contract was made by both of the appellants, she assenting and acting through her husband.
