This is a successive application for leave to file a motion under 28 U.S.C. § 2255 challenging the applicant’s conviction affirmed in United States v. Bennett, 908 F.2d 189 (7th Cir.1990). It is his second application — the first having been denied in Bennett v. United States, 119 F.3d 468 (7th Cir.1997)—but if granted it would permit him to file his fourth motion under section 2255.
