On February 27, 2009, Robert Giacopelli (the “Plaintiff’), a retired member of the Málveme Police Department, commenced this lawsuit against the Incorporated Village of Málveme (the “Defendant”), alleging discrimination due to his disability and retaliation in response to his union membership and political activities.
