Deborah Chriestenson was awarded permanent and total disability benefits in a 3-2 decision issued by the Workers Compensation Board (Board) more than 11 years after her employment at Russell Stover Candies ended. Although it is undisputed that Chriestenson’s preexisting chemical sensitivity may have been temporarily exacerbated while she was employed by Russell Stover in 1997 and 1998, there is no substantial competent evidence in the record that Chriestenson suffered a permanent and total disability caused by her work at Russell Stover.
