MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER GRANTING DEFENDANTS’ MOTION FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT

On or about October 2, 1996, plaintiff Edward Schanz instituted this action against The Village Apartments, Meghan Quigby and Fred Stephens alleging violations of the Fair Housing Act Amendments of 1988 (“FHAA”), 42 U.S.C. § 3604, and the Michigan Handicapper’s Civil Rights Act (“MHCRA”), M.C.L.A. § 37.1502.
