I. INTRODUCTION

This matter comes before the court on a motion for summary judgment (Dkt.# 91) from the Defendant, the Oregon Province of the Society of Jesus (“the Province”). The court has considered the parties’ briefs and supporting declarations, and finds oral argument unnecessary. For the reasons stated below, the court GRANTS the motion in part and DENIES it in part.
