The citizens of Star Valley requested that separate local telephone exchanges currently provided by U S West Communications, Inc. and Silver Star Telephone Company, Inc. be combined into one local exchange. After a public hearing, the Wyoming Public Service Commission agreed and issued an order to implement the service.
