JOHNSON, Judge.
We are asked to determine whether a medical malpractice action by parents on behalf of their child may be discontinued without prejudice as to the child’s claim upon an allegation by the parents of their alleged financial inability to pursue the action. The trial court found that the parents were not required to file suit but chose to do so and that, having made that choice, could not impose unreasonable burdens on the defendants.
