delivered the opinion of the court.

By this appeal the defendant, Whitney, seeks to reverse a judgment recovered against him in the munieipal court of Chicago by the plaintiff for the sum of $725.

The defendant, Whitney, was in the automobile business, selling Lincoln and Ford cars, and in connection with his business he maintained a garage. He testified that he also sold second-hand Fords which were traded in on new cars. Whitney had a salesman named Anderson, who was a close friend of the Clemenson family.
