This is an action of detinue-, prosecuted by Randall Crenshaw against the Commercial Bank of Selma, for the recovery in specie of a certain note and mortgage executed by said Crenshaw to the H. C. Keeble Co., and by said company assignbd and transferred to said bank for value before maturity. The note was executed January 21st, 1890, for $150, and payable October 15th, 1890, to £<H. C.
