OPINION

ESPINOSA, Chief Judge.

¶ 1 Appellant was convicted of unlawful possession of a narcotic drug and was placed on probation for four years. A petition to revoke probation was filed, and following a hearing, the trial court found petitioner had violated conditions of probation and placed him on intensive probation. A second petition for revocation was filed and, after anoth er hearing, the court again found appellant had violated probation. The court revoked probation and sentenced petitioner to a 2.5-year prison term. Appellant contends that the trial court was precluded from sentencing…
