Plaintiff Harley-Davidson, Inc. (“Harley-Davidson”) commenced this action on April 20,1993 in response to defendants’ use of the name “Harley Rendezvous” to refer to their motorcycle-related events. Plaintiff alleged claims for trademark infringement under 15 U.S.C. §§ 1114-1118, false designation of origin or sponsorship under 15 U.S.C. § 1125 and New York common law trademark infringement and unfair competition.
