On January 13, 1922, F. E. Stevens, W. G. Mayfield, Roger O’Gorman, D. L. Bowers, Edgar and A. F. Wischaemper, as makers, executed and delivered to plaintiff, appellant here, their certain promissory note in the sum of $1,000, which contains the usual provisions for attorney’s fees, and a waiver of presentation, protest, and nonpayment at maturity. The note contains several credits reducing the amount to a balance of $606.41 at the time of suit.
