Overview

OpenClaw ships an official @openclaw/exa-plugin for Exa web search and content extraction. Enable provider exa in the web-search configuration, authenticate with EXA_API_KEY, and install the same plugin through ClawHub when using the marketplace workflow.

How to enable Exa in OpenClaw:

  • Install or enable the @openclaw/exa-plugin package (ClawHub identifier clawhub:@openclaw/exa-plugin).
  • Set tools.web.search.provider to exa.
  • Provide EXA_API_KEY, or set plugins.entries.exa.config.webSearch.apiKey.
