Exa + Hermes Agent
Give Hermes Agent search and extraction through its Exa provider.
Overview
Hermes Agent includes a bundled plugins/web/exa provider that uses the exa-py SDK for both web search and extraction. Hermes can select Exa for search and extract backends; the third-party web-search-plus plugin also routes Hermes searches and extraction through Exa.
How to enable Exa in Hermes Agent:
- Install the Hermes Agent web provider dependencies, including exa-py.
- Set web.search_backend to exa and/or web.extract_backend to exa.
- Provide EXA_API_KEY; optionally install the third-party web-search-plus plugin for multi-provider routing.
