SHEPARD, Justice.

Appellant Martha J. Abner was convicted after a jury found her guilty of murder by inducing another to kill, a felony, Ind. Code § 35-42-1-1 (Burns 1979 Repl.); Ind. Code § 35-41-2-4 (Burns 1979 Repl.), and conspiracy to commit murder, a class A felony, Ind. Code § 35-41-5-2 (Burns 1979 Repl.). The trial court sentenced her to concurrent terms of fifty years imprisonment for the murder and thirty years imprisonment for conspiracy. Because of our disposition of this direct appeal, we address only the following issues:
