WEIER, Chief Judge.

On May 11, 1973, Richard Glen Helms, hereinafter referred to as movant, pleaded guilty to first degree murder of one Glen Helms, Sr., and was sentenced to life imprisonment. Helms thereafter filed a motion to vacate his conviction and sentence under Rule 27.26, which after an evidentia-ry hearing was denied. We now affirm the ruling of the trial court.

On appeal movant contends that the trial court erred in finding that the plea of guilty was voluntarily entered and knowingly made when evidence supported the fact that movant was under the influence of drugs. In addition to…
