A jury convicted the defendant of murder in the first degree of his companion, Sherry Morton, on theories of *440deliberate premeditation and extreme atrocity or cruelty, and of murder in the first degree of their son on a theory of extreme atrocity or cruelty. He contends that he was denied the right to a fair trial by an impartial jury, and that the admission of testimony by a State psychologist who examined him after the murders violated his State and Federal rights against self-incrimination.
