The plaintiffs sued for the recovery of a parcel of land in the city of Oxford 30 feet wide by 161 1-3 feet long, as shown on the map used at the trial in the court below, and in this Court at the hearing of the case.

It appears from the record that there was a sharp dispute between the parties as to the beginning corner of the larger lot, of which thelocus in quo is alleged by the defendant to be part. The deed under which the defendants claim describes it as being "at a (374) planted stone on Williamsboro Street about six feet southeast of a large red oak, the southeast corner, thence S. 59…
