This is an action to recover the amount due on a promissory note. The plaintiff prevailed, and the defendant appeals.

The petition contains the usual allegations, stating a cause of action on the note and asked judgment for $675, with interest at eight per cent from July 30, 1928. The answer, duly verified, admits the execution of the note and denies all other allegations contained in the petition.
