BELCHER, Commissioner.

By writ of habeas corpus filed in the County Court at Law No. 1 of Harris County, the appellant attacks as void the judgment of conviction for the offense of negligent collision as defined by Ordinance No. 41-39 of the City of Houston.

Appellant was convicted in the Corporation Court of the City of Houston under a complaint charging the offense of negligent collision and fined $25. Upon his appeal to the County Court at Law No. 1 he was again convicted and assessed a fine of $5. It is from confinement by virtue of a commitment issued under said judgment that appellant…
