MEMORANDUM DECISION AND ORDER

The plaintiff, Michelle Scott, filed suit against defendant, Steven LeRoy Hammock, plaintiffs father by adoption. The plaintiff alleged that defendant had engaged in various forms of abuse of plaintiff during her childhood. The jurisdiction of this court is based on diversity of citizenship (28 U.S.C. § 1332).
