Defendant-appellant Alberto Lopez was convicted by a jury on four counts of federal narcotics offenses and two counts of criminal forfeiture. The indictment included as a co-defendant one Angel Carrion, who pled guilty prior to trial on the counts directed against’ him individually and as a co-conspirator.
