We granted the instant writ application to resolve the issue of whether or not a settlement agreement can be enforced where the parties verbally agree to the terms of a settlement and dictate these terms to a court reporter in an attorney's office, but where one of the parties later refuses to sign the court reporter's transcription of the agreement or…
