Appellees are five former" insurance agents. Appellants are affiliated insurance companies which were appellees’ employers. Appellees brought suit on behalf of themselves and as a class action on behalf of approximately 10,000 other similarly situated former insurance agents across the country, seeking damages for the alleged breach of their respective employment contracts.
