Appellant, The Insurance Adjustment Bureau, Inc. (“IAB”), filed a complaint against Appellee Allstate Insurance Company (“Allstate”) for breach of contract, conversion, and breach of assignment, alleging that a written agreement between it and Allstate’s insureds assigned it the right to the payment of insurance proceeds. This court granted allocatur to consider whether the Superior Court correctly affirmed the trial court’s order sustaining the preliminary objections that Allstate filed in response to IAB’s complaint.
