SMART, Judge.

Appellants, James and Swann Bates, appeal from the Circuit Court of Jackson County’s entry of summary judgment in favor of respondent, the law firm of Dy-*2sart, Taylor, Penner, Lay & Lewandowski (Dysart firm), arising out of an action brought by appellants for malicious prosecution and negligence. The suit arose out of two underlying lawsuits concerning disputes between condominium owners and the developers of a condominium project at the Lake of the Ozarks. Appellants contend that the trial court erred in granting summary judgment in favor of the defendant law firm.
