The Citizens Bank of Carlisle was a partnership, consisting of twenty-seven partners. On the 29th of April, 1930, G. D. Schooler was appointed permanent receiver of this private bank. Among other things, said receiver was ordered to determine the amount, if any, of indebtedness remaining after the application of the proceeds of the sale of the assets, and to collect from the owners of the bank pro rata as they might be legally liable therefor sufficient to pay any deficiency.
