Defendant, Tammi S. Hook, was convicted of first-degree murder (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1989, ch. 38, par. 9 — 1(a)(2)), sentenced to 25 years’ imprisonment and fined $5,000, payable when she is on parole or mandatory supervised release.
