BESOSA, District Judge.
Before the Court are two motions: defendant Mesirow Financial’s motion requesting a ruling that the plaintiff waived her attorney-client privilege and the plaintiffs motion to amend her complaint. 1

In August, 1998, plaintiff Yanisse Adrian (“Adrian”) was seriously injured and is now a paraplegic as the result of a shooting that occurred in the Montehiedra Mall parking lot in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
