I. INTRODUCTION
Thomas R. Becnel and Jardine Ventures, LLC (collectively, “Becnel”) sued Deutsche Bank AG and Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc. (collectively, “Deutsche Bank”) for state-law claims of fraud, conspiracy to commit fraud, fraudulent concealment, aiding and abetting fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, aiding and abetting breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract and breach of the implied duty of good faith and fair dealing.
