Eric Lamont Hodnett (claimant) appeals from an opinion of the Workers’ Compensation Commission (the commission) that affirmed a deputy commissioner’s decision regarding the issuance of a certified copy of an open worker’s compensation award. Claimant argues that the commission erred in finding that the certification was only issued as an authenticated document of the commission and not issued for enforcement purposes pursuant to Code § 65.2-710.
