HAWTHORNE, Justice.

A judgment of the district court dismissing plaintiff’s suit was affirmed by the Court of Appeal for the Parish of Orleans, and the case is now before us under our supervisory jurisdiction to review that judgment. See 89 So.2d 517.

The question for our determination is whether a tenant of the owner of a building can maintain a tort action against a contractor to recover damages caused to him by the fall of a cabinet installed by the contractor for the owner of the house.
