Plaintiff Mary Payton (deceased) has brought this action against Defendant Jo Anne Barnhart, in her official capacity as Commissioner of the Social Security Administration, seeking judicial review of an administrative Social Security disability insurance benefits, pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 405(g). 1 Plaintiff claims that the ALJ’s finding that the claimant was not disabled between June 1, 2001 and September 20, 2001(“closed period”) was unsupported by substantial evidence and, therefore, must be reversed.
