The defendant Sullivan had a - contract with the United States government for transporting mail between the depots and post office in Council Bluffs. One Walter Baldwin was employed as a driver. On the 5th of July, 1921, Baldwin, while driving one of the trucks of the defendant, was shot and killed. Application ivas filed by appellee, under the Workmen’s Compensation Act, and compensation awarded as prayed. As above stated, this was later confirmed by the district court: hence this appeal.
