Plaintiff brought this action in assumpsit alleging that she had entered into an express contract with the decedent, Henry Gullen, to pay her $50 per month for nursing services, cooking and serving his meals, and keeping house, etc., and that this contract was in effect from October 15, 1937, until January 19, 1943, the date of his death.
