OPINION
MATTHEWS, Justice.
I. INTRODUCTION
A state employee sued Pressure Point Control Tactics Management Systems, Inc., (PPCT) under theories of vicarious lability, retained control, and negligence for injuries incurred during a training program designed by PPCT and taught by PPCT-certified state employees. We affirm the superior court's award of summary judgment to PPCT on the retained control and vicarious liability claims because we conclude that PPCT did not retain control over the instructors and the instructors were neither servants nor agents of PPCT.
