Esta apelación envuelve una notificación hecha a la de-mandante, en el año 1950, por el entonces Tesorero de Puerto Rico, en cuanto a una alegada deficiencia de contribuciones sobre ingresos con respecto al año 1944. Los hechos incon-trovertidos son los siguientes:
