GONZALES, Judge:

Pursuant to his pleas, the appellant was found guilty, by a military judge sitting as a general court-martial, of the random kidnapping, forcible rape, and felony murder of a female child slightly less than three years of age in violation of Articles 118(4), 120(a), and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 918(4), 920(a), and 934 (1988) [hereinafter UCMJ].
