BROWN, Justice.

This is an appeal from a summary judgment granted in favor of appellees in a negligence action. Kevin Noonan was killed while working on an oil rig. Appellants brought suit against Texaco, Inc. (hereinafter Texaco), Joy Manufacturing Company (hereinafter Joy), Dresser Industries, Inc.
