This appeal concerns the trial court’s order granting a temporary injunction in favor of the appellee Timothy Wilkins, who owns a unit in the Laguna Bay Condominiums on South Padre Island. The injunction restrained the appellants—the Laguna Bay Condominium Association, Inc. and several of its board members 1 (collectively, the COA)—from collecting a special assessment of $91,316 from Wilkins and, by extension, from foreclosing on his condo.
