In this action the plaintiff, J. C. Nichols, asked for the specific performance of a contract alleged to have been entered into with the defendants, Ralph C. Coppock and Alberta Coppock, for the sale of about twenty-six acres of land situated in Johnson county near what is known as the Shawnee Mission. The result of the action depends on the sufficiency of the plaintiff’s amended petition, which sets forth the alleged contract consisting entirely of letters and telegrams.
