This is an appeal from a judgment entered in the Columbia County Clerk’s Office on May 24, 1947, upon the verdict of a jury, rendered in an action to recover damages for the death of plaintiff’s intestate on July 20, 1946. The accident occurred at a grade crossing, known as the Irondale Road crossing, when the automobile owned and operated by the intestate collided with one of the defendant’s trains at said crossing.
