Kansas City Southern Industries and The Kansas City Southern Railway Company1 appeal a judgment in favor of the State of South Dakota and the South Dakota Conservancy District,2 of $600,000,000 which represents a trebled jury verdict of $200,-000,000 based on a federal antitrust claim. KCS also appeals a verdict of $244,200,000 awarded to SD on a state law claim of tortious interference with a contractual relationship.
