MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

This is a tort action in which the plaintiff seeks to recover damages for electric shock injuries he sustained while working on a new parking garage owned by the defendant in Montgomery County, Maryland. The matter is before the Court on two motions. The first is defendant’s motion to strike the ad damnum clause in the complaint to the extent that plaintiff seeks recovery in excess of $200,000.
