Michael W. Mesler appeals from the order of the Court of Common Pleas of McKean County (trial court) dismissing his statutory appeal, and entering the verdict of a district justice as the judgment of the court. The district justice had adjudged Mesler guilty of one count of Unlawful taking or possession of game or wildlife, in violation of section 2307 of the Game and Wildlife Code (Code) 1 , and one count of Shooting on or across highways, in violation of section 2504 of the Code 2 , and had imposed fines and costs totaling $ 740.00.
