This is a suit founded upon a certificate of life insurance upon the life of Frank Barber for $2000 for the benefit of plaintiff, then his wife and now his widow. It is dated September 4, 1893. Mr. Barber died June 5,1910. The defendant, which issued the certificate, was then and still is an insurance company incorporated and having its principal place 'of business in Connecticut and doing business in Missouri.
